05-WC-0072 - RCMP Memorial Ribbon Yard Art Woodworking Pattern.

05-WC-0072 - RCMP Memorial Ribbon Yard Art Woodworking Pattern.
I designed this pattern to represent the memory of fallen RCMP officers that serve their duty to protect the Canadian public and others around the world. The red represents their coat, and the black and yellow represent the roads they travel, heading out in one direction to serve and protect, then swing around and come back home. The black and yellow is reminiscent of their pant leg uniform as well but the uniform colour is actually a dark blue with golden stripe. I designed this after realizing there are memorial ribbons for many public service sectors, but I do not know of one for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

You can print off the small version to make a paper sign to hang in your window, or you can create a yard art display using the larger pattern. I sized the large ribbon so that you can cut 6 from a full sheet of plywood. Each about 23-3/4 x 32 inches.
