Most people only use their sander for smoothing flat surfaces such as the face of their wood. But by making this table, you can use your belt sander to sand edge grain and end grain too! Since belt sanders come in many different sizes and configurations, this plan suggests how to alter the table to fit any belt sander which uses 21 or 24 inch belts either 3 or 4 inches wide. Some custom fitting will be required to fit your belt sander. Project is made from 1/2 inch thick plywood. This woodworking plan provides full size illustrations, exploded view diagrams and instructions to make the projects shown.
