WELCOME! Hi, My name is Jim Barry, owner of WoodworkersWorkshop. Wherever you are in the world, whether it is the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, Happy New Year everybody!

In 2009 we serviced customers as far north as Fort MacPherson in the Yukon Territoy of Canada, to as far south as Invercargill, New Zealand...and a lot of new places and countries in between. Welcome to our newest customers in Kenya, Argentina, Thailand and Qatar. The 2010 year is brand new for us here at the I.D.C. Some new things will be happening very soon at our distribution center. A new woodworking plans company is coming on board. Well, new to the I.D.C. but they are known around the world for their high quality plans. WOOD Magazine! As well, we are bringing in more and more woodworking plans inventory to our main warehouse.

Our biggest change at the end of 2009 was the changing of how we calculate shipping costs for our customers from our Nova Scotia warehouse. We now charge actual shipping based on weight. With the recent addition of Winfield Collection to our Nova Scotia warehouse and soon to be added WOOD Magazine (Better Homes and Gardens publication), many of these plans will ship cheaper from our warehouse than anywhere else. Canadian and other International customers will see a big difference in the mailing costs.

WoodworkersWorkshop.com I.D.C. sells woodworking plans and patterns. We are the online purchasing and International Distribution Center for many of the highest quality woodworking plans and patterns available in the marketplace. We currently offer over 4,900 woodworking plans. Our objective is to provide woodworkers with a one-stop location where they can view details of projects they want to build, from the various companies that offer a full range of woodworking plans, all categorized in an easy index and a simple advanced search engine to assist you in finding what you need. We do not sell the actual wooden kits of the items in the product photographs unless clearly indicated in the product's description. Please read the Shipping Policies page.

About Paper Woodworking Plans: They are the paper printed material which are mailed to you either from our warehouse or direct from the supplier. We will decide which method works best for servicing you, depending on your location and our on-hand inventory. Speed of delivery and cost-effectiveness is the goal.

About Electronic Woodworking Plans: Products that include (PDF) or (JPG) are the electronic woodworking plans and patterns. Only the products with (PDF) or (JPG) in the product title are available as a download (electronic) plan. You will be emailed the plan directly or a download link for you to access, so there will be no waiting for the mail to arrive and there are no shipping charges either! This is a growth area and we expect many woodworking plans publishers to be offering this format in the coming years. We expect some designers to offer both and when they do, you will see the options available in the product listings.

Payment Options: In the Checkout area you will be offered several ways to pay.

• You can chose to print your order and mail in a check or money order. Or print your order and fax it to the office with your card information.

As part of our own environmental initiative we are now accepting your used paper plans to recycle back into the marketplace. We will sell the used plans here in our online store and they will be clearly marked as a USED PLAN. (read more)
