  1. Q: Do you have a catalog?
    A: We do not produce a paper catalog for a couple of reasons. First, its really expensive nowadays. Second, we update our online store every day so a paper catalog would be out of print before it even left the printers. And third, we'd like to do our part and save a few trees!
  2. Q: If I want to mail in my payment, who do mail my payment to and whose name goes on the payment?
    A: Please write your money order payable to 'Jim Barry'. You can mail the payment along with a paper copy of order and your full contact information to:

  3. Q: Where are the related items shown in product descriptions?
    A: We started out listing all of the woodworking plans from our designers and publishers. A lot of the projects mention additional items to complete a project. For example, a door harp plan required wooden balls, music wire and pins to complete the project. We can obtain the parts for many of the plans. We simply haven't gotten around to adding all the related items.
    So if you are interested in a plan and there are related parts that are not listed, send us an email and we will see if they are available and then list them for you to purchase. In the meantime, we are working our way through the entire product listing, updating the products daily.
  4. Q: I tried to pay using PayPal but it didn't work! What should I do?
    A: There are a couple reason this may occur. First let me say that you don't need to be a member of PayPal to use their service.
    • If you are a member and get a message saying your email address doesn't match, then the email address you used to create an account in our store doesn't match the one you have with PayPal. You have to return to our store, make sure you are logged into your account, and you will see in the right side of the screen a menu list 'Account Menu'. Under it is a link to change your email address.
    • If you are not a member and encounter an error, the most common reasons are:
      • incorrect name, address, card number or expiry date
      • sometimes a card is not allowed to be used online
      Check with your card company.
    • If that doesn't work, you can always have us do the transaction for you over the phone. Simply return to the Checkout area and chose the second 'Payment Method Selection' to let us call you. The store will put your order in 'Pending Status' and we will call you as soon as we can.
