From Chris Swingley - This is a great project to exercise your woodworking skills without using a lot of wood. A step by step tutorial on how I built them can be found on this page. The plans call for about 6 board feet of wood, and the final dimensions are 8 inches deep, 21 1/4 inches wide and 13 inches tall.
These plans are inspired by a cabinet in James Krenovs, A Cabinetmakers Notebook, pages 78 -- 81. I chose to use dovetail joinery rather than the hidden technique Krenov uses. This free woodworking plans and projects information is courtesy of the Chris Swingley web site.
This compact and effective rolling clamp rack is based on the elegant sawhorse design of James Krenov. There are no measurements or layout diagrams in this PDF. Just a copy of the illustrated diagram from a recent publication of Fine Woodworking magazine.
