Portable Chair Woodworking Plan.

These picnic or camping chairs collapse to the smallest size we have ever seen. So small you can store them in the bottom of a canoe. Yet when assembled, they are very comfortable. Kids like to use the small size for playing video games or watching TV. Easy to make from 3/4 inch thick lumber. The small chair measures 22 inches high with an 11-1/2 inch wide seat. Large chair measures 27 inches tall with a 14 inch wide seat. This woodworking plan provides full size illustrations, exploded view diagrams and instructions to make the projects shown.

Table, Folding

Marilyn thought it would be nice to have a little folding table for when we are camping. A place to sit our frosty mochas when we wind down from the days activities. Not only did the table need to fold up but it also need to be light. I think this simple design accomplished both.

Stool, Small

Marilyn made a suggestion that we needed a small foot stool in our camper trailer. That got me thinking that it needed to be small and light. As it turns out this stool would be great for a small person sitting next to the campfire or it would look great on the deck with flower pots sitting on it. How every you use it we think it will be a nice addition.

Chair, Camp

These plans are based upon several designs used by scouts in our council. Some people call this a scissors chair. The chair is composed to two pieces: the seat and the back. The two pieces slip together and require no fasteners when used. When carried the seat stows between the sides of the back for a very compact package.
