Outhouse building information
Very basic building information. In the old days people bought powdered lime or lye and sprinkled it down into the hole to help with the smell. You may want to add wood chips or sawdust each time you use it so that the material will compost.

The latrine should be orientated so the vent pipe is facing the equator (South in Mexico). This one of the most important features as the black (DO NOTPAINT THE VENT PIPE) ABS pipe must be heated by the sun to promote ventilation.
