Halloween Cemetery Fencing Well for 2002 I decided that Raven Manor should have a fancy gate and fence for two reasons. 1) To keep the trick or treaters from walking through the middle of the yard (all those cords and semi-fragile foam tombstones); and 2) it plain just looks good and helps create the whole cemetery scene.
Halloween Mausoleum The design was inspired by actual crypts/mausoleums in a local cemetery. I took a trip down one afternoon and took a bunch of photos. I think some people wondered what I was doing. Then I looked at each of them and combined the elements I wanted. I think what made it look good is the false raised front with the steps. I did not want to extend a false floor through the whole piece, plus this gives our ghost extra floor room to move.

RCMP Memorial Ribbon Yard Art Woodworking Pattern I sized the large ribbon so that you can cut 6 from a full sheet of plywood. Each about 23-3/4 x 32 inches. The smaller ribbon is sized 7 x 10-1/2 inches making it a good size to print on regular paper, a good size to post in your window and show your support. I designed this pattern to present the memory of fallen RCMP officers that serve their duty to protect the Canadian public and others around the world. The red represents their coat, and the black with yellow stripe represents their pant leg. No money will ever be charged for this pattern. Simply download and use, share with friends if you want to.

Yard Art - Flying Duck This is a wonderful project suggested by Ann one of our newsletter readers. We found an old and broken one to make a pattern from and then modified it a little. This project looks deceiving simple. There is a lot of tedium in getting the wing holes in the right place and the right weight. Once you get it right it looks great and is a real conversation piece.
