If you already have Google Toolbar 4 for Internet Explorer
...then simply click here to add WoodworkersWorkshop.com Custom Button to your toolbar.
WoodworkersWorkshop.com is an online database that categorizes links
alphabetically to resources found at other woodworking web sites. As of September 15th, 2006, you can now intergrate this site's
Advanced Search Engine into Google's Toolbar. This will allow you to have full time access to what I believe is to be
the most thorough woodworking plans search engine.
Freely accessible to you, the search contain both free and fee plan listings. Its easy to distinguish the free
plans, just look at the Link Type associated with each item.
When you want to do another search for woodworking information using this site's advanced search engine, simply click on the
icon in your toolbar search box. Newer versions of Google's Toolbar will keep the last used icon displayed.
Now on to the instructions on how to intergrate this site's search engine into the Google toolbar. And yes, this
site's Advanced Search Engine intergration to the Google Toolbar is completely reversible, instructions are provided at the end of this page.
- Step 1:
Upgrade your Google Toolbar so that it looks like the toolbar shown in the picture below. If you don't even
know what the Google Toolbar is, go here. It works with Internet Explorer
and may work with other browers. Check and see.

- Step 2:
After you have upgraded or installed the new Google toolbar, go to this site's search engine
page (click here, opens
in a new window). Find the "Advanced Site Search" box and place your mouse cursor over the area where you would
normally type a word and right click your mouse. At the bottom you should see 'Generate Custom Search' (see image below).
Click on that option.

After that, this box will appear...

And then automatically the image below will appear. Click the Add button.

A new box will appear confirming the addition of the custom button installed (see image below). Click OK. Look for this site's icon
appearing in your Google toolbar (yellow arrow appears here for graphical purposes, it won't appear in your browser)

Step 3:
Now go to the Google search box in the toolbar and left click on the . You should see a popup box like shown
below that will allow you to change how the search box functions. Choose the " woodworkersworkshop" option.

After choosing that option your Google toolbar search box should now look like it is shown in the image below.

You're done! Now, no matter where you surf on the net you will always have readily available, the
WoodworkersWorkshop search engine. Help yourself find a plan, help a friend...heck...help a stranger!
How to remove this site's search feature from the Google toolbar search box.
This is too easy...simpy place your mouse cursor over the
icon in the Google Toolbar search box and left click
on it. Now just choose any of the other search features that Google offers. To go back to the normal Google search
setting, just click on ' Web'.
How to remove this site's search feature from the Google toolbar completely.
This is easy also...simpy place your mouse cursor over the
icon in the Google Toolbar search box and left click
on it, or the icon if you have already done the removal step above. Choose the 'Manage' option. A box will
appear (like shown below). In the 'Custom buttons' area you will see 'woodworkersworkshop'. If it is not checkmarked, then
checkmark it. If it is checkmarked, then uncheck and then checkmark it again. This is the only way
to get the 'Edit' and 'Remove' buttons to funtion. Now just click on 'Remove' then 'OK' and you are done removing this
site's search engine from the Google Toolbar.

If you have any questions on the functionality of this site's search feature, read the Search Tips on the site's search engine page.
