Stacking Barristers Bookcase Classic Project Plan No.17 Originally called a barristers bookcase, whereby barrister is a British term for lawyer, these cases have been around since the beginning of the 20th century. Sadly, due to age and use, many of the original bookcases are in pretty rough condition. Our updated version breathes new life into the classic design and solves the problem that seemed to have been a design flaw in the original. Build them to suit the scale of your own library or office and we are sure they will be passed down for generations to come.

Even full loaded, it rolls in and out easily on heavy-duty slides. The drawer box joiner requires just a single setup on the tablesaw explained within this plan. As an option, we will show you how to install a mortised lock in the bottom drawer. |
